Welcome to CamTalk (hereinafter "the App") and its related services.
CamTalk is a local video recording tool centered on dual-camera synchronized recording. You can simultaneously record the front camera (portrait) and rear main camera, or combine portrait with screen content into a single video. Supported recording layouts include picture-in-picture, vertical/horizontal split-screen, and screen + camera. Real-time annotation during recording is also supported. All recording and processing are completed locally on your device — no video or image content is ever uploaded to any server.
This Agreement is entered into by you (hereinafter "you") and the owner of the App (hereinafter "we"), and is legally binding. Please read this Agreement carefully before using the App, especially the clauses regarding permissions, subscriptions, and data handling. If you are under 18 years of age, please read this Agreement with your legal guardian.
If you do not agree to any part of this Agreement, please do not use the App. Once you start using the App, you are deemed to have fully read, understood, and agreed to all provisions of this Agreement.
This Agreement covers:
1.1 Services provided by the App include but are not limited to: dual-camera synchronized recording (front + rear), picture-in-picture layout, vertical/horizontal split-screen layout, screen content + camera synchronized recording, real-time annotation (drawing/highlighting), multiple aspect ratios (9:16, 3:4, 1:1), video filter preview and recording, watermark settings, front camera beauty enhancement (Pro feature), HD/2K recording, bitrate and frame rate configuration, media library management (rename and delete), version update notifications, and more.
1.2 By clicking "Agree" or actually using the App, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.
1.3 We reserve the right to update or modify the terms of this Agreement as the product evolves, and will notify you through in-app notices or page updates. Updated agreements take effect from the date of publication.
1.4 If you continue to use the App, you are deemed to have accepted the revised content; if you do not agree to the changes, you should immediately stop using the App.
2.1 The App supports simultaneous activation of front and rear cameras for dual-camera synchronized recording, compositing into a single video file. Supported layouts include: picture-in-picture (portrait as a small window overlaid on the main view), vertical split-screen (two views stacked vertically), and horizontal split-screen (two views side by side).
2.2 In "Screen + Camera" mode, the App uses iOS ReplayKit to capture screen content and combine it with the front camera for recording — ideal for online courses, product demos, and similar scenarios.
2.3 The App supports real-time annotation during recording, including freehand drawing and highlighting tools. Annotations are composited directly into the recorded video.
2.4 The App supports multiple aspect ratios (9:16, 3:4, 1:1), selectable before recording, to suit different platform publishing requirements.
2.5 The App supports real-time video filter preview and recording, as well as watermarks (custom text, position, style), and front camera beauty enhancement (subtle brightening, applied only to the front camera). Some features are Pro-exclusive.
2.6 The App supports adjustable recording quality (HD 1080p / 2K), frame rate (30fps / 60fps), bitrate, and other parameters. Some advanced parameters are Pro-exclusive.
2.7 Recorded videos can be viewed, renamed, and deleted in the App's media library, or saved to the system photo library.
2.8 You must comply with applicable laws and regulations and may not use the App for illegal or prohibited activities.
2.9 You may not record, process, or distribute illegal content, or infringe the legitimate rights of others (including but not limited to portrait rights, privacy rights, and copyright).
2.10 You understand and agree that when recording others' screen content in "Screen + Camera" mode, you must obtain lawful authorization from the relevant rights holders.
2.11 You understand and agree that real-time filter and annotation effects depend on actual device rendering, which may be affected by device performance. Overheating or frame drops may occur, especially during long recording sessions.
3.1 To enable dual-camera preview and recording, the App requires camera permission. If you deny this permission, you will not be able to use the recording feature.
3.2 To record narration audio or synchronized sound, the App may request microphone permission. You may disable microphone recording in settings; only silent or system audio will then be retained.
3.3 To save recorded videos to the system photo library, the App may request "Add Only" (addOnly) photo library permission. You may choose to save only to the App's internal storage without granting photo library permission.
3.4 In "Screen + Camera" recording mode, the App uses iOS ReplayKit to capture screen content. The system will display a permission confirmation dialog before recording begins. Screen recording content is processed locally only and is never uploaded to any server.
3.5 The App may use device motion sensors (such as the accelerometer) for interface orientation adaptation and assisted shooting interaction.
3.6 Network connectivity is required for version update checks and App Store subscription loading; if the network is unavailable, these features may not function, but local recording capability is unaffected.
4.1 The App offers subscription services (weekly, monthly, annual) and a lifetime one-time purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew unless you disable auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
4.2 Upon confirming a purchase, the charge will be applied to your Apple ID account. Subscriptions take effect immediately upon purchase. Any unused free trial period (if offered) will be forfeited when a subscription is purchased.
4.3 The Lifetime membership is a one-time purchase and does not auto-renew.
4.4 You may manage or cancel your subscription in iOS: Settings → tap your Apple ID → Subscriptions → select "CamTalk" to manage/cancel (actual path may vary by iOS version).
4.5 Subscription benefits and pricing are as displayed on the App Store. We may adjust subscription plans and benefits based on operational and product strategy.
4.6 Pro features include but are not limited to: unlimited recording duration (free version limited to 5 minutes per session), watermark-free export, 2K/4K super HD recording, 60fps high frame rate, advanced annotation and personalization features, front camera beauty enhancement, and additional Pro-exclusive features that may be added in the future.
5.1 We take your privacy and data security seriously. For detailed information on personal data handling, please read our Privacy Policy.
5.2 All recording content (video, audio, screen content) is processed and stored locally on your device and is never uploaded to any server.
5.3 Network connectivity is used only for version update checks and App Store subscription features, and does not involve the transmission of any media content.
6.1 The App requires iOS 17.6 or later.
6.2 Dual-camera synchronized recording requires a device with both front and rear cameras. Some features (such as 4K recording and 60fps) are subject to device hardware capabilities.
6.3 Screen + Camera recording mode depends on the iOS ReplayKit framework and requires iOS 17.6 or later.
7.1 The App is provided "as is" and does not guarantee it will meet all your needs.

If you are under 18 years of age, you should use this App under the supervision of a guardian and with their explicit consent, particularly for subscription purchases and other transactions.
9.1 If you violate this Agreement or applicable laws and regulations, we reserve the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate service to you.
9.2 You may stop using the App at any time, or end your use by uninstalling it (uninstalling does not automatically cancel existing subscriptions — please cancel manually in system settings).
10.1 This Agreement is governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. In case of disputes, both parties should first seek resolution through negotiation; if negotiation fails, either party may bring a lawsuit to the court at our location.
